Before I joined the personal training sessions, I had avoided exercise as I found the gym boring, exercise classes ‘samey’ and could not get motivated to go running or do something on my own. A factor that made me approach Sonya was that I have Type I Diabetes. Sonya really understands how this condition affects me when exercising and she has really given me the confidence in knowing that I can do it. Over the past 9 months I have loved every session and I have not looked back! Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a walk in the park, but the hard work is paying off! The training has really made a difference to my life! I have more energy, which helps with having two young children! My fitness has improved and my shape has changed for the better and I have toned up. My husband would also vouch for that!

Sonya always ensures each person is working to the best of their ability, and always gives encouragement and praise to ensure you get the most out of your workout. She has a very positive nature and is and always willing to offer help, guidance and advice when and where needed. Sonya has a vast knowledge of food nutrition, and combining this information with training has so many benefits.
Taking part in Sonya’s group training sessions has given me many health benefits. I feel much healthier and fitter, and normal day to day tasks have become easier due to my increased flexibility. Even my GP was very pleased, on a recent visit, with my much improved blood pressure reading.
